Geoff Wood's Reflections on The Liturgical Year
Through Geoff's interpretations what we may have found difficult to understand as adults, wonder of wonders, we now understand through he eyes and ears of "our child". Scripture is about grace and what's wrong with us when we don't have grace," says Geoff. "The metaphor expresses scripture better; it's a very redundant truth told over and over again - I just try to let the metaphor speak for itself."
Geoffrey E. Wood has a Doctorate Sacred Theology from Catholic University, Washington, D.C., and a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Bible Institute in Rome. He has taught at Catholic University, Swarthmore College, and Bucknell University. Geoff is a theologian who practices his faith in the real world and a parishioner here at St. Leo's.
