Centering prayer is a method of prayer that is silent. It’s listening to, or a loving look at what is real, what is deeper, what is always there. It is also a discipline. In regular practice we must ‘set time aside’ to our regular way of thinking and consent to God’s presence and action within us. This prayer is easier to learn in a group where you have direction and encouragement and in time, develop a stable core of peace and comfort.
The group meets weekly.
